Tioga County has three elected Auditors.  The auditors examine, settle and adjust the accounts of each county department.  The auditors compile a Public Report for the prior year which is published in the local newspaper and is available on line for the public to view.   A printed copy can also be obtained in the Courthouse lobby.  The auditors also complete an annual financial report which is filed with the Department of Commerce and Economic Development (DCED).  These duties are performed on behalf of the taxpayers.
