Registering to Vote

Registration closes no later than 15 days before the election.

Online
To apply online Click here. When you submit a Pennsylvania Driver’s License or PennDOT ID number, it serves as your confirmation of signing the application. Alternatively, you have the option to request a signature form or download the voter registration application, fill it out, sign it, and send it by mail.

Submitting by Mail
You can download the voter registration form, fill it out, and send it to the Elections Office as long as it’s received by the deadline. Once your registration is processed, you’ll receive a Voter Identification Card in the mail.



In Person
You’re welcome to stop by the Elections Office to apply in person. It’s located at 118 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901, and they’re open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

At PennDOT
While getting or updating your Driver’s License or PennDOT ID, you can also handle your voter registration—either signing up to vote or making changes to your existing record.
