Mental Health & Intellectual Developmental Disability Services


The Tioga County Service Line is responsible for providing housing services and Base Service Unit operations for residents of Tioga County.

Service Access and Management, Inc. provides these services through a contractual agreement with Tioga County Human Services Department.

The Base Service Unit assists individuals of all ages with accessing mental health services and supports in Tioga County based on their needs and preferences.

The Base Service Unit intake department determines eligibility for various mental health programs and treatment in Tioga County.

Intakes may be scheduled Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM and after business hours if necessary.

Walk-in appointments accepted based on availability.

Mobile Intake services provided for individuals as needed.

The Bridge Housing Program is located at 63rd Street Mansfield, Pa. 16933. Bridge Housing is a transitional living program for homeless, near homeless, those who have experienced Domestic Violence, people in need safe housing to reunite with their children in care or to prevent placement due to unsafe housing. Bridge Housing serves Tioga County residents only. Those who apply for Bridge Housing will be required to follow an individual service plan, which will define the expectation of them while participating in the program. The service plan will also show the outcome of each individual participating.

There is two Housing Specialists located at Bridge Housing who are available to assist Tioga County residents with security deposits/first month rent and utility assistance and other housing options. There is an application process to determine if the person applying is eligible for assistance. The individual(s) applying are required to show the total household income and be able to sustain once assisted by this funding source.  

The Bridge Housing Office is open from 7:30-4:00 Monday-Friday with an after hour on call system in place. Scheduled Appointments are appreciated, but walk-in appointments are accepted.
